Strategy: Whilst above the weekly trend reversal level, buy dips to support levels after
an entry signal.
Today's trade suggestion:
It seems that sticking to our guns on the long side has paid off, albeit in the most dramatic
and unexpected way. After the Fed announcement to buy U.S. debt, the euro rallied 250
pips in under 5 mins, creating the fastest move I have seen in a decade of trading. In any
event, those that bought the euro at the 1.2950 support yesterday, will have now pocketed
a cool 550 pips. The strategy for today is to remain bullish, with dips in the price possibly
reaching as low as 1.3250 (see the levels above) Don’t expect a lot of action today, as the
markets digest yesterday’s news and the technicals consolidate on the chart. Look to buy
dips to support levels. Target 1.3500, and then 1.3700.
